Pick the Atomic Bent 90 if you're learning or already enjoy mixing all-mountain skiing with freestyle moves. Pick the Blizzard Anomaly 88 if you're an intermediate or better who wants a narrower platform and a metal-bearing construction for ordinary resort skiing. The Bent is unisex; the Anomaly is a men's ski. Their intended uses separate them more clearly than their similar waist widths.

Where freestyle fits into the day
The Bent is aimed at all-mountain and freestyle skiing, with an ability range that includes beginners. It is the more relevant candidate if your goal includes side hits and playful movements as well as improving your turns. Choose a manageable length while you build the balance and timing needed for those moves.
The Anomaly is aimed at all-mountain and freeride use, starting at intermediate. For someone who mostly follows the fall line and wants to progress on varied trails, that focus may fit better. A ski does not need a freestyle purpose to leave the ground occasionally, but regular freestyle ambitions are a real reason to prefer the Bent.
If your park interest is only hypothetical and your actual skiing is cautious cruising, look closely at how much ski you need now. Buying for a future version of yourself can obscure the more immediate choice of size and control.
Similar waists, different ends
The Bent has a 90 mm waist and the Anomaly an 88 mm waist. The Blizzard has the broader tip, while both tails have the same width. Its narrower middle and more pronounced tip-to-waist shape suit rolling onto an edge and following a carved turn on packed snow.
The Bent's 17-21 m radius range favors more open carved turns than the Anomaly's 14-19 m range. The Blizzard is the better starting point if you like a ski that bends into a tighter arc on groomers. Pick the Atomic when you want to mix sweeping turns with side hits and deliberate slides across the slope.
Atomic's All Mountain Rocker and Blizzard's tip rocker, camber and tail rocker balance edge contact with raised ends. Camber helps maintain grip when the ski is tipped and pressured; rocker helps the ends release as you flatten the ski. That combination is useful when an afternoon alternates between firm trails and softer piles of snow.
Construction and size before price
The Anomaly uses 2Ti FluxForm All Mountain and a Trueblend All Mountain wood core. Metal reinforcement generally helps settle vibration when a firm run becomes rough, making the Blizzard an appealing choice for purposeful trail skiing. Keep your weight and pace in mind: a ski bought for strong, fast turns can become tiring if you spend the day steering cautiously.
The Bent begins at 157 cm, shorter than the Anomaly's 164 cm starting point. That shorter option helps a smaller adult keep the ski manageable while learning. The Anomaly's size choices make more sense once you already need a longer ski and its intended ability range fits you.
Which should you buy
Choose the Bent 90 for a freestyle-minded day or a shorter size, with your ability and terrain guiding the final length. Choose the Anomaly 88 for intermediate-to-expert resort skiing when its shape and construction are the draw.
The Bent 90 starts below the Anomaly 88 in price. Read our park ski guide if freestyle is central, or carving ski choices if your real goal is better turns on trails.
