Pick the Blizzard Canvas 100 if you're an intermediate or better who wants park laps mixed with all-mountain and soft-snow skiing. Pick the Völkl Revolt 101 if you're an advanced freestyle skier looking for an explicitly stiff directional twin. Both of these freestyle candidates are unisex skis. The Revolt's more demanding audience is the main reason to choose it, not the tiny extra width underfoot.

Nearly equal width, different priorities
The Canvas has a 100 mm waist and the Revolt a 101 mm waist. That small difference is unlikely to settle a buying decision. Both offer substantial width for a freestyle-oriented ski, which makes sense if the approach to a feature or the landing is softer than a groomed park lane.
The Canvas is aimed at all-mountain, park and powder use. The Revolt is focused on freestyle and has a directional-twin shape. If you want to ski the whole resort and dip into the park along the way, the Blizzard's intended use is a direct fit. If freestyle drives the entire day, the Völkl deserves closer consideration.
The Canvas has a wider tail, while the Revolt has a slightly wider tip. The Blizzard's broader tail gives you more surface behind the boot when snow is soft. The Revolt's directional-twin shape suits a day that includes skiing and landing switch, so consider how often freestyle moves feature in your normal laps.
Stiff flex needs a reason
The Revolt has a stiff flex and an advanced-to-expert audience. That may appeal to a strong skier who wants support when applying pressure through the ski. It is less persuasive for someone learning to manipulate the ski at low speed.
The Canvas is built with a fiberglass-and-carbon sandwich and a poplar-and-paulownia core. Its intermediate-to-expert audience and all-mountain purpose make it the practical starting point when you are building freestyle skills while still spending plenty of time on ordinary runs. It offers a way to choose around that mixed day rather than a dedicated freestyle routine.
A heavier skier who actively pressures the ski may appreciate the Revolt's stiff flex. A lighter or cautious skier may find it hard work, especially when learning slow presses or recovering from an awkward landing. Favor a ski you can bend and steer comfortably through a full day of practice.
Shorter lengths favor the Canvas
The Canvas starts at 162 cm and reaches 186 cm. The Revolt runs from 168 to 189 cm. Shorter skiers therefore have an additional reason to consider Blizzard, while tall skiers wanting the longer end can look at Völkl.
The Canvas has a 14.5-18.5 m turn-radius range, compared with 16.9-19 m for the Revolt. The Blizzard's shorter-radius options should suit tighter carved turns during the groomed laps between park runs. The Völkl favors letting those arcs run longer. Choose a size that feels manageable at your usual approach speed before prioritizing turn radius.
Which should you buy
Choose the Canvas 100 for a broader resort mix, an intermediate-to-expert audience, or a shorter available length. Choose the Revolt 101 for an advanced freestyle focus when stiff flex is something you actively want.
The Canvas 100 has a lower price range than the Revolt 101. If either fits, that gives Blizzard a straightforward budget advantage. Our park skis guide can help you decide how much of your ski choice should revolve around freestyle terrain.
