Choose width for your usual snow

The Sheeva has a 96 mm waist against the Santa Ana's 92 mm. Its wider platform is useful when fresh snow or soft afternoon piles make up a large part of your day. The Nordica's narrower middle should feel quicker rolling from edge to edge when most of your turns happen on packed trails.

At 174 cm, the Sheeva measures 129/96/118.5 mm from tip to waist to tail. Those broader ends add surface for soft snow as well as the extra width beneath the boot. Choose the Blizzard if your favorite route follows softer pockets beside the groomer, returning to the trail for the ride back to the lift.

The Sheeva's 12-16 m radius range includes shorter arcs than the Santa Ana's 15-16 m range. The shorter Blizzard sizes suit a skier who enjoys frequent direction changes on a groomed slope. The Nordica is a good match for a rhythm of medium turns across a wider run.

A playful mix or a trail-led day

The Sheeva uses women's FluxForm Freeride Ti and a Trueblend Free wood core, with a partial twin tip. That shape fits a playful approach to all-mountain skiing, including occasional switch turns. The Santa Ana uses a TSM Pulse Core and is aimed at intermediate through expert skiers exploring the resort.

Both use rocker profiles, helping the ends rise through softer snow and release when you flatten the ski. In bumps or narrow passages, use that release to control the turn before setting the next edge. A length you can guide comfortably is particularly useful when the route becomes crowded or you are tired.

For a confident skier who likes a narrower all-mountain platform, the Santa Ana is an appealing daily choice. For an intermediate or advanced skier prioritizing soft snow and a playful shape, the Sheeva is the more natural match.

Santa Ana reaches longer from the same starting size

The Sheeva comes in 150, 156, 162, 168 and 174 cm lengths; the Santa Ana comes in 150, 155, 161, 167, 173 and 179 cm. Both give a smaller woman a 150 cm starting point. The Nordica extends beyond the Blizzard for a taller or stronger woman who needs more length, while their staggered sizes offer different fits through the middle.

If you ski cautiously or spend a lot of time making tight turns, favor a manageable size within the appropriate range for your weight. A stronger skier who enjoys speed can benefit from more length. Avoid moving to the longest Sheeva just to gain soft-snow support if it makes ordinary trail skiing cumbersome.

Which should you buy
