Mittens fit comfortably around the D-shaped grip of the BCA Dozer 2D. This mid-sized shovel uses an extendable shaft with concave sides and a low-profile blade that packs flat. The blade has an edge for applying boot pressure and a smooth forward section for shaping snowpit walls. Spring-loaded pins join the shaft and blade when assembling it for digging.
