The Black Diamond Evac 7 offers conventional shoveling and a hoe configuration in the same tool. Changing the handle arrangement allows snow to be scooped or pulled, useful when excavating or preparing snowpits. An aluminum blade connects to a telescoping shaft, and a compact D-grip accommodates gloved hands. The shaft nests into the blade to reduce bulk when packed away.
