Glove-friendly controls and a backlit display make the Mammut Barryvox straightforward to operate during winter travel. This digital transceiver uses three antennas and presents distance, direction and multiple-burial information. Acoustic guidance accompanies the display, and a reverse-direction function helps identify a search moving away from the signal. Group testing and automatic device checks support routine equipment preparation before a ski tour.
