The stiffest of the three leather boots, made for turning on steeper backcountry slopes. Thick water-repellent split leather, a Velcro ankle strap and a shanked nylon insole give firm support, and a seam-sealed Thinsulate membrane bootie keeps feet warm and dry. The thick Vibram 75 mm sole fits any three-pin binding. A good pick for skiers who want more downhill control from a free heel.
