A kids' starter set that pairs the short, wide Balla Hok with the Kuna strap binding, so a child can head out in ordinary winter boots. The ski is stable and slow by design and climbs as easily as it slides, which makes playing in the yard or the woods simple from about age three. The binding adjusts as feet grow, so one set can last several winters.
