The Folkrm Wyeast Carbon is a fixed pole with an unusually extended EVA grip for changing hand positions on varied terrain. Its broad carbon shaft provides a stiff feel without excessive weight. Sliding the hand lower changes the effective reach immediately, useful on traverses and steeper approaches. The design suits skiers who prefer grip movement over telescoping adjustments during backcountry travel.
