A minimalist touring binding for skiers who want the climb to feel light. The Backland Pure skips brakes in favor of a leash, uses a toe guide that lines the boot up with the pins for you, and lets you switch climbing heights with a flick of the pole. It also takes standard ski crampons, and the broad base gives solid power on wide skis.
