The XVST alpine binding paired with a free-flexing X-Step plate, the setup DPS recommends for its narrow Pisteworks 79 carver. The plate lets the ski bend smoothly underfoot and lifts the boot for clearance when you tip the ski to high edge angles. Twin springs keep the boot secure, and it takes alpine or GripWalk soles with a 72 mm brake.
