A carbon fiber race boot for ski mountaineers who want to take their racing further or move fast and light on tours. One lever both tightens the cuff and switches ski/walk mode for quick transitions, and the tapered shape stays compact and precise on the ski. At about 530 g per boot with an 80-degree range of motion, it adds EVA inserts for walking comfort, a two-piece liner that dries fast, and a slimmer Vibram Litebase outsole.
