A light poplar core helps children carry the Transalp uphill without unnecessary weight, then keeps steering manageable after the climb. Fischer gives this junior touring ski an 81 mm waist for a supported platform on the descent. It lets young skiers join family skin-track outings with dimensions scaled to them, while a defined sidecut shapes their downhill turns.
