The [ak] Hover uses a supple three-layer GORE-TEX construction with a C-KNIT backer for light, packable snow protection. Stretch supports movement during touring and resort riding, while underarm vents help release heat on climbs. Large pockets accommodate skins between descents. A removable waist gaiter, stretch wrist coverage and adjustable hood provide mountain features without turning the shell into a heavily insulated jacket.
