The Scott Aluguide uses two adjustable aluminum sections for touring and freeride skiing. A locking clamp secures the chosen length, while the extended foam grip allows quick lower hand positions on traverses. Powder baskets support plants in deeper snow, and carbide tips provide firm contact. The telescoping design also shortens the pole when compact storage is useful.
