All-Mountain Snowboards

An all-mountain snowboard should cover the riding you return to every weekend. If you mix groomers, side hits and a few park laps, look for a flex that bends comfortably without feeling vague at speed. A directional shape can favor forward riding and soft snow, while a more balanced shape helps when you ride switch. Check the recommended rider weight for each length and make sure the width suits your boots. Extra width can reduce toe drag, but too much can make turns feel slow. Avoid picking a board solely for the rare powder day if most runs are on firm snow.
