Kids' Ski Gloves
Young skiers need gloves they can put on themselves, ideally with a long cuff that pulls over the jacket sleeve and a strap that stays on the wrist. Mittens tend to be warmer for small hands, while gloves suit older kids who hold poles and manage their own zippers. Measure across the palm and compare with the maker's chart, since guessing by age often ends badly. Wet gloves are the most common reason for a short day, so a waterproof shell helps, and a spare pair in the bag helps even more. Clips that join the pair together make it harder to lose one in the lodge. Avoid adult-style bulk that prevents a child from closing a fist.
