Men's Ski Jackets

A men's ski jacket should suit the weather you usually ride in and the layers you wear underneath. Try it on over a fleece, then reach forward as if you were holding poles to see whether the sleeves still cover your wrists. Check that the hood closes over a helmet without blocking your view when you turn your head. Pit zips help on warm spring days and long traverses. A waterproof rating means little if the seams are not taped, so look at both. Pockets should stay reachable with a pack on and gloves in hand. Leave out any jacket that rides up when you lift your arms.
