Wide Ski Boots

Wide ski boots are worth trying when your forefoot feels squeezed in an otherwise suitable shell length. A last of 102 mm or more describes forefoot width at a reference size, not the width of every size or the room above your instep. Compare heel hold and ankle shape as well as space across the toes. Going too wide can leave your foot moving before the ski responds, even if the first try feels comfortable. A boot fitter may relieve one local pressure point without moving you into a roomier shell. Have both feet assessed before treating width alone as the answer.
